This video was taken in the last days of our interior remodel in this north Scottsdale home. The video shows how the new faux finished walls compliment the new travertine flooring as well as the faux finished cabinetry throughout.
We're doing the final details on this major home remodel in Westbrook Village. We've done everything from adding on to the front of the home to totally remodeling the kitchen and both bathrooms.
Check out our video to see how things are coming along.
This is pretty cool... Samsung has come out with two bacteria-killing air conditioners that use Micro Plasma Ion (MPI) technology. The company is intent on educated us that while shopping for energy star products that it is cooler to find products that protect your health too.
The Vivace Shadow Mirror (photo above) and Neo-Forte (photo below) pack enough tech firepower to zap unwanted visitors. According to Samsung's Choi Donguk, MPI is capable of effectively eliminating 78 percent of fungus and 58 percent of bacteria in a 30-minute time frame, within an enclosed environment.
The MPI works in tandem with a carbon deodorizer that removes odors and bacteria, a Silver Nano evaporator and a Catechin filter developed from a green tea extract.
The air conditioners now offer 30 percent energy savings. To read more go to www.quietside.com.
Here's a great tile product that is eco-friendly and looks great!
Eco-Cem is a multipurpose composite that is available as large tiles for flooring (or as slabs for countertops). It's made from a mixture of 80 percent cement and 20 percent recycled paper. Available in eight colors, it's lighter and stronger than natural stone, and resistant to mold and mildew.
I came across these very interesting and beautiful door handles... some are quite interesting but the decorative hardware is truly functional pieces of art.
Martin Pierce Hardware Inc. designs unique door handles and cabinet pulls cast in bronze. All are handmade and styles range from contemporary to classical. They offer a complete range of luxury door handles, unique cabinet pulls and recently, bathroom accessories, which include towels rails and soap dishes.
There are six distinct styles of hardware, four of which are cast in bronze with the Morphic and Ergo styles being cast in stainless steel. All of the styles are original and copyrighted and are cast in the lost wax method which allows Martin to create exceptionally detailed quality hardware.
Here's a beautiful tub that would definitely make it easy to relax after a long day! The freestanding Savoy tub, from MTI Whirlpools, has a raised backrest and is contoured vertically, horizontally, and diagonally to cradle the "body" as the user leans back.
The tub's solid surface is made of organic minerals and bonding agents, designed to look and feel like natural stone. It also can be converted into an air bath when used with a pedestal base. Available in white or biscuit matte finishes or white, biscuit, osprey (brown), or raven (black) gloss finishes, designing a bathroom with this tub in mind would be easy.
This really sparked my interest... glowing glass under-mount sinks. Alchemy Glow, from Alchemy Glass & Light, illuminates glass sinks from within by a LED fixture embedded into a routed channel under the countertop. The low-voltage LED system provides an estimated 50,000-hour lifespan, which equates to roughly 20 years.
This system can be installed with any round glass Alchemy sink, and the company offers a package that includes the LED unit, a custom-fabricated honed French limestone countertop (with cutout and hidden LED light channel), an Alchemy sink (in either a 15" or 18" diameter), and a sink clip kit. Custom stones can be ordered to fit any vanity.
