Kohler wanted some rich, vibrant colors for their enameled cast iron kitchen sinks and Jonathan Adler gave them Piccadilly Yellow, which he calls unexpected and exuberant; Greenwich Green, that he says is bolder than "dull avocado green"; and Palermo Blue, that he terms beautiful and refreshing. Fortunately, without the adjectives, the new sinks fit nicely with the popular yellow, green, and turquoise cabinet and paint colors for 2013, as shown in the kitchens below.
This really sparked my interest... glowing glass under-mount sinks. Alchemy Glow, from Alchemy Glass & Light, illuminates glass sinks from within by a LED fixture embedded into a routed channel under the countertop. The low-voltage LED system provides an estimated 50,000-hour lifespan, which equates to roughly 20 years.
This system can be installed with any round glass Alchemy sink, and the company offers a package that includes the LED unit, a custom-fabricated honed French limestone countertop (with cutout and hidden LED light channel), an Alchemy sink (in either a 15" or 18" diameter), and a sink clip kit. Custom stones can be ordered to fit any vanity.

Unique and rare are two words that came to mind when I read about these sinks. They look stunning next to the granite countertops pictured here.
The jewel like tones and unique glimmering traits of glass are now available in the kitchen thanks to new Hard Roc glass kitchen sinks by JSG Oceana. The company claims their sinks are to be the first of their kind on the market.
A unique formulation of borosilicate glass makes Hard Roc glass thermal shock resistant, stain and scratch resistant, hygienic, non-porous, and easy to clean. The sinks are available in undermount and drop-in installations in a variety of luminescent colors and designs.
Personally I think these sinks are just beautiful and go easily with many different styles. If you agree, leave a comment sharing your thoughts on these sinks that sparkle!
